Even though the mileage is low .. the car has went though 11 summer and winter extremes... rubber heats and cools ,,,windows and doors are still subjected to freezing and if those 42K are city milage then that could be a big factor ... take the oil-fil cap off and look for sludge on the inside of the cap ... look at the anti-freeze for dis colorization
