Check engine light 2003 toy highlander

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car didn't pass emission test. Jiffy lube
said it was emissions. Bought new gas
cap.  Light still on. Advised to drive 60
miles on freeway non stop. If that doesn't
work jiffy lube said they could clean out
emission for $120. If freeway drive doesn't
solve problem should I take it to a
mechanic instead of back to jiffy lube?

"Jiffy Lube Said", that is your first mistake. Take the vehicle to someone that knows what they are doing, Jiffy Lube is NOT that place.

What was the trouble code? Do what Bob says, you are lucky if they change the oil correctly at Jiffy.
