2001 manual transmission toyota camry starter makes clicking noise wont start i can pop the clutch to start it

assuming your battery is good , headlights nice and bright and a jump start won't do the trick then it's more than likely the starter , to test it you need to remove it or close to that , then you might as well replace it ,IMO
