98 camry starter clicking

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ive replaced the starter and relay fuses. The
battery is good.The issue started randomly. All
lights work fine. Clicking is coming from starter.
Neighbor says flywheel, I disagree. Help please.

One solid click, tested starter, after bought, it checks good, same as battery. I think its wiring. Xar ran great prior to this issue. Anything else? Ground maybe?

You might consider using a Voltmeter and performing further testing and diagnosis.

Loose ground. Cleaned ground, and battery cables really good. Returned and she Started right up.

Good job. You might consider replacing any corroded battery cables. What you don't see is the corrosion making it's way through he cable under the cable covering insulation.
