Hi and hello, first of I do not own a camry nor have a Camry but today the weirdest thing is the car which driven up to AutoZone where he could purchase windshield wipers and this process the car would not turn back on and when he was ready to leave why at the store we had tested battery which check out fine how to check the starter by removing such and have an AutoZone test it checks out fine in this process we check off the fuses in the car his car was purchased as a third owner vehicle Barely Used on vehicle which he has taken on so in which I have discovered fuses are not where they were supposed to be on the fuse box under the dash driver side of the vehicle which is the result in the ECU sensing a Power shortage which will not allow the car to start the computer can sense that so I had to put the proper fuses in the proper slots in order for the power just like on a house to be balanced out so the power can get to the starter so if you have a used vehicle check all of the fuses make sure they match the diagrams in your owner's manual to the proper voltages do not mix up your fuses for this reason a 5 volt fuse should have a 5 volt fuse not a 7.5 not a 10 volt make sure a 5-volt fuse goes with a 5 volt and so on, don't try to be a wise guy and go up a voltage. it's bad for the vehicle! you are shorting power source to something else in the car when you do that there for something that needs the power like the starter are your headlights or something like that walk properly work starter will not crank the motor it will click one time instead of multiple times of Engagement so check fuses because a $3 fix can save you from having to spend unnecessary money for something that was never worn out and check for wire shortages

after placing fuses in the proper slots car fired up as if it was a new car this is a 99 Camry badly used Camry at that had some spiders dim lights and now that the fuses are in the proper slots headlights are normal lighting are bright if you can say car does not sputter so do check your fuse box to make sure all the fuses match the factory diagram fuse box voltage setup in your owner's manual if you do not have a owner's manual purchase one off eBay starting from 12 to $35 a pop so if your car is acting weird wear the battery test out fine the starter test out fine and when key is turned you just get one click sound from under the hood or the sound from behind the dash that's exactly what it is it's a fuse problem might sound silly to the pros but most Pros don't have their heart in working on cars to go the extra mile sometimes I have a lot of assholes that work in shops in my state who think they know and they don't they're also in some of the auto stores cuz they couldn't figure it out themselves and I did it in their parking lot in their face for a family member who lives in a different County visiting with his only car and slowly but surely with all of the bad experiences I have had with vehicles and learn how to overcome them without taking the car to a shop this is how you become a guru of your own cars

I have a 2002 toyota avalon with a 3.0 and I got a new starter and it said 1998 through 2002 if your car is 3.0 it's got same starter I bought a new one not remanufactured and only payed 42 bucks from hex autoparts. Hope you have good luck.
