What is the problem with my Windows

Asked by randellfb May 03, 2008 at 05:47 PM about the 1994 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Passenger-side-front and driver side rear windows go up but not down. Auto-door locks, lock but don't unlock.
Motors/regulaters are good. When I apply power directly to the window motors they go up and down. Or while windows are down I reconnect the window switch and they go up but not down. But the drivers master switch does nothing.  Any ideas.  thanks

check the wiring harness for that master switch... sometimes they get cut in the door frame, and you might have poor contact other wise replace that switch...

either your master swith is bad or there is a shortage in the wires for you master cylinder OR you could have a blown fuse
