01 subaru outback brake light problem!

I have a 01 subaru outback llbean edition with
cruise control. My brake lights dont work one
morning plus the car wont come out of park .ive
replaced brake light switch, didnt work. Ive
replaced the bulbs cause a few were burnt out. Ive
heard maybe fuse or security system.. any ideas?

Check the sockets in the mini-harnesse in the tailgate, as the sockets rust out. Fortunately these are available separately from the main harness.
