99 Legacy outback, misfired, replaced coil, now no spark it seems?

Asked by Whatzizface Sep 28, 2020 at 11:21 PM about the 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Blinking CEL, know that’s a misfire, not running
crappy really, but feel less power yes. So I scan it,
all four are missing and 0420 also which I was
already aware of. I get a new coil, throw it in there,
won’t fire up now with either of the coils, connected
everything correctly, what gives.
