96 and 99 compatible?

Asked by Jul 18, 2017 at 07:48 PM about the 1996 Subaru Legacy 4 Dr Outback AWD Wagon

Question type: Car Customization

I recently hit a deer with my 1996 subaru legacy
outback. The hood, radiator support and passenger
side Fender and light are damaged. I recently
purchased a 99 subaru outback. I was going to use
it for the support, cosmetics and hood. Will this
work or did I drop $375 for nothing?

Why didn't you use your insurance company to pay for the damages? Deductible too high?

How many people have full coverage for their 21 year old Subaru?

'96-99 OB body parts are almost all interchangeable. Maybe slightly different headlamps' configuration, but otherwise you're in good shape.
