looking everywhere for front and rear pads for this car but every place i go seems to insist this car doesnt have 16in rims, i know it does and they are stock. does anyone know if the 15in pads would work on this app? i would hate to take this car apart to remove the pads and then walk to get the parts. production date 2/99. checked 98 and 2000 specs but i am getting several options.

wheel size has absolutely no effect on what size your brake pads are. it has everything to do with caliper size. how many options do you have when purchasing the brake pads? im guessing probably only one.

heres a site that took me 1 minute to find. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/search/?Ntt=Subaru+Brake+Pad+Set+legacy&Ntk=Main&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&N=4294965173 from the way it appears no matter what your tire size is on this car stock they used the same caliper size. i could be wrong though. although this website says that the brakes fit the 2.5L GT which is what your car is.

actually napa had 3 and autozone had 6 ( big help they where) . i am a certified ASE tech so i know all about brakes but it was insane trying to find the stupid part. after 2 days napa came through. thanks for the website info, i like my major discount that i get through napa though. (guess i could've taken it off and compared it but that wouldve left me w/o a car to get to the store!) thanks for the info
