Transmission is fine---front torque shocks, and transmission mount gone! Transmission mount is hydraulic (contains oil) All of the oil is gone in mount. When transmission is put in reverse, the torque pushes the bad torque shocks forward, making a noise to sound like engine racing. Engine was not racing--the noise was coming from electric fan operation, transmitted through the broken torque mounts. When put into forward gear, the engine torque twists the motor the opposite direction, making a loose connection in the exhaust system. The transmission cable cocked and would not let transmission shift into OD. I serviced the transmission fluid and filter, put some Lucas transmission fluid conditioner in with clean fluid, and replaced front engine mount, transmission mount, and both torque mounts, and adjusted shift cable. I am glad to say ,the transmission shifts just fine now!
