Question type: General

Replaced fuel pump and level indicator. Low
fuel light comes on, I add 13 gallons every
time (18 gallon tank)

At least you know what is going on. I doubt there is any easy way to adjust the light to turn on when the tank is lower.

Better to have it come on a little sooner than a little too late! I would leave it alone. Did the level indicator come with any calibration instructions? If so, follow them or call the manufacturer for help.

3 gallons are meant to be "reserve", it's more for long hauls on the interstate or simular I think.
