1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4L 6 cyl wont idle in gear

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine will idle and rev up in neutral but when drive selected will stumble, will not rev and will cut out.
Coil ,plugs ,leads, vacuum hoses checked ,fuel filter all replaced, fuel pressure 35psi,no fault codes or engine light on,
Any thoughts.

I just checked the spec in Mitchell and it says 47-51 psi. I hope this helps, Take care.

Had a similar problem with a 2000 & I replaced the crank position sensor.hope this helps.
