left front wheel bearings

The bearings have come out of the hub and
it's diw. Left front.  What's going to be the fix
and how much of difficulty Will this be for a
fairly experienced shade tree mechanic. Not
my vehicle!

Looks like you are going to replace the front axle cv shaft. Should be too bad once you get past the rust, an torn apart.

You will be replacing the front left cv axle shaft. The rotor and brake caliper & mount. There is going to be a big nut on the end of the axle shaft that you must get loose, best to do it on the ground before taking the tire off. The axle shaft will pull right on out, once you get the hub all torn apart. New cv axle shafts I see start around $60.
