Rear tire locks up

Asked by GuruC8Q5D Mar 01, 2019 at 07:44 AM about the 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 SL 4WD Extended Cab Stepside SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've got a 99 gmc sierra. Disc brakes on the rear. My rear
driver side tire locks up when I come to a stop. It will not
break loose if I try to drive forwards. It does break loose if I
go in reverse. I put the rear end up on jack stands and I can
spin it in park. Brake is not locked up.
