Passenger rear tire locks up

Passenger rear tire locked up but when break pedal
is applied it unlocks for a brief moment then locks
up again any ideas

Might be a defective brake hose to a caliper, or even the parking brake linkage binding up. Have it checked out before replacing parts.

Seen these happen a lot, so far 8 out of 10 have been a leaking axle seal, differential grease getting on the brake lining. most obvious sign is a fluid ring on one or both of the rear tires.
