1998 GMC Sierra won't start

So I have a 98 GMC Sierra 2wd with the 5.0l I have
went through and replaced the fuel pump, filter,
plugs wires, timing chain and gears with it in time,
the crank position sensor, and the spider fuel
injector. I'm getting fuel and spark. It cranks but
won't fire up and run I have a charged battery and it
will fire up if I put ether to it but then dies

Did you install the updated injection system? Check the fuel pressure regulator. Are the injectors getting cycled? Can you hear one click if you listen.and did you check the inj fuse?
Yes I replaced the entire unit, when you cycle the key you can hear the fuel pump kick on as well as the injector unit
I'm going to check the coolant temp sensor in the morning. I was reading on another post that said when that goes it over fuels flooding the motor out.
Do you smell fuel in the exhaust pipe go back and sniff the pipe and see if strong gas smell if yes flooding from gas regulator on the fuel rail vsg or vvsg vacuume solenoid check for any vacuume hoses cracked or bad connections. It governs that regulator for injectors. Check temp sensor wire also.
