i overheated my heads. cracked one so i replaced them both. now my truck when under load works great, but if i back off the petalor reachncruisind speed where there is no load it atarts to miss .

A sticking EGR might do this. A shop can check the EGR operation with an EGR tester. May also want to check the MAF. I assume you also went through all the usual tune up stuff, (plugs, wires, throttle body, cap/rotor, coils). When you decelerate, the engine operates under higher vacuum, so a tiny vacuum leak my become a big one, causing a lean misfire.
