I have a 2006 ford explorer SUV automatic transmission and after a 4 hour drive and filling up the gas tank, the service engine soon light just came on. How do we reset the engine light? Thanks

The service engine soon light is a pollution warning thing. Check your owner's manual or go to autozone to see if the vehicle is throwing codes. It may be a simple fix.

Hmmmmmm. Filled the tank and then the CEL? Is the gas cap tight? Some vehicles will reset the loose cap-caused CEL after several OBD Drive Cycles by themselves, so be patient. If it stays on after a few days driving, scan it....it might be a coincidence. .... or not.
