What does the power train warning light mean on a 2006 ford explorer? Can I still drive it?

Warning light came on with picture of a wrench, meaning power train problem.  What
does this mean?

Take it to AutoZone Advanced, Auto Parts or any other national auto parts place that offers a free check engine light scan. But first,just to be on the safe side, check your oil to be sure that your light isn't on because your oil is low. Most likely it's a reminder to do a scheduled service.

No No No. You have an internal transmission failure. The light indicates that a sensor or actuator has malfunctioned or is outside if it's intended parameters. AutoZone Retail Clerks nay or may not be able to retrieve transmission codes but don't put too much faith in them - they're retail clerks - not Automotive Technicians.
