My check engine light came on yesterday. I took it to Auto Zone and the code P1309 came up. I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8.. What does that code mean?

Possible causes for the code p1309 - Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor - Synchronize Assembly not properly installed. - Verify the cam sensor is synchronized - Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - Verify input sensor parameters are correct Replacing the Camshaft position sensor should do the trick. If problem persist work your way done the list. Hope this helps
