Won't start but it trys to turn over

All I know is that I was driving and the
engine shut off all of my electrical stuff still
works but it just won't start up.I have had a
few people look at it and they said that it's
the fuel pump or something electrical. I
personally have little to no knowledge on the
subject. I'd appreciate any trouble shooting
from someone who knows what there doing
