Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ive replaced plugs and cables,  crank sensor and
the cap and rotor. I went from the truck turning
and no start to starts runs for a heartbeat or two
then studdenly dies. It starting strong though.
Fuel pump is good and its spraying gas since it
starts and runs a second.  If i press on the
accelerator after i start the truck it dies instantly.
Im soo lost.  Ive been 5 days into this.  Battery was
charged at O'rileys the other day and tested.  It's
good.

Did you replace the spark plug wires one at a time? If not, it sounds like you might have gotten the routing of the wires mixed up between the distributor cap and the spark plugs. They all need to be in the proper position. Check online for a wiring diagram for your engine.

Firing order on plugs is correct. It starts, but dies after. So since it starts. It has fuel spark and air. There's no secerity light on so it's doubtful its a lock out
