Replace the sending unit or the gasket or tighten it down.

Guru9LYMG, that year and all around it was notorious for valve cover oil leaks. I had a Buick we loved, but it always leaked oil from around the valve covers. GM always fixed it, but not until my warranty ran out, did I buy an expensive set of gaskets and it stopped the oil leaks. Head gaskets can leak also, around the timing chain, and anything that requires a gasket in those years would leak oil. That's where you start. If you are doing it yourself, first look where the oil is leaking from. Oil flows downhill, so if nothing above is leaking, look lower. Then clean the area of any and all oil. Keep an eye after every drive to see where oil is coming from. My money is on the valve cover gaskets first.
