How do I install the hardtop on my 1972 Corvette Stingray

Trying to access and attach the washers, lockwasher and wing nut are difficult with the
convertible tucked into its place.

really nice car- I'm thinkin' that as old as it is, the rag top is not folding down and getting out of the way entirely- also, a hardtop? is that original factory equipment? did it come with the car originally? hmmmmm
