Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my truck runs fine all winter long. As soon
as the temperature heats up to above 80
degrees Fahrenheit outside, and I am running
the a/c or any type of heavy load my truck
wants to overheat. If I turn off the a/c and
turn on the heater full blast it will hover
around 225 temperature. Any ideas on how to
fix this?

An IR thermometer can check if the radiator is heating uniformly, if not, parts of it may be blocked with gunk or corrosion. The water pump may also have some wear on it, preventing it from creating enough flow to prevent overheating when engine is under load.
