I have a 94 silverado that will just shut off while driving, I can let it sit for 20 minutes and it fires right back up but can only travel a short distance before it happens again

fuel pump alternator and battery are all new

Sounds like the ignition control module. When they are starting to go bad, the engine heat will affect them. You can take it out and have it tested at an auto parts store.
