Usually a CEL is reset by connecting to the OBDII and resetting the code. If you have determined that there is really nothing wrong with the vehicle, have the counter-person at Autozone reset the code for you. However, if there is something wrong, and when a light is on it usually means there is, you should figure out what code is being thrown and then have your vehicle looked at by a qualified technician.
