Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought this car, 2000 toyota echoe. The oil light sometimes comes on, but it goes off. The oil was changed and the level is full.
Any ideas why it comes on?

Hi Gizmo123! Sounds like a sensor is on the fritz or headed in that direction. Talk to your local service manager about what's involved in running down this issue. It may cost more trhan it's worth to fix. Your dipstick is still your most reliable indicator in terms of oil level. Trust it. Good luck!
