How to fix my air vent when it only air come out in the bottom

I have a chysler 1987 5th ave and the air only
comes out the bottom vents and i want it to
come out the front vent too

The air diverters are not working properly. Could be the selector switch, the diverter could be clogged or blocked by a foreign object, or maybe a mechanical part may have broken loose.
