Can a 307 be swapped into a 1986 cutlass supreme v8 350 engine????

I am in need of a new motor...the junkyard does
not carry a 350 at the moment but they said a 307
will fit and just add all other parts from old motor
and will fit perfectly...will it work is it worth it??

Same block, same stroke, just a smaller bore. You can swap over manifold, heads, accessories. You'd be giving up some horsepower obviously. Try expanding search radius if you want to hold out for an Olds 350.

An Olds 350 will not fit without modifications. If you want a 350 it needs to be a Chevy 350 same as the one that's in it now. If this car is just transportation the 305 is fine. Check which side the dipstick is on. If its opposite from your 350 you will want to get the exhaust manifolds with it as well.

We're talking about an Olds 307 swapped in for an Olds 350 in an 86 Olds Cutlass.

By '86 all GM 307s were small block Chevys. I'm a little fuzzy about whether a 350 in an Olds would be an actual Olds engine or not, but you could be right on that point. They'll be pretty few and far between though.
