how do i unlatch my hood

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently unscrewed my hood and accidentally laid it down. Unfortunately my hood release is not
working and i cant get my hood back off. i need it removed to replace my old motor. Any insight
would be appreciated and thanks in advance. I'm currently restoring it

depends on the model and year of the 944.

okay first you remove the pint from the shoxs that hold up the hood.. after mark the positions on the hingrs and bolts before loosening the bolts.. that should do it.... im just reading off the repair manual
