I have a surge sound in idle.Its a up and down sound.Do u know what it is?

Whenever it surge in idle it runs like that when I drive.It runs like its stopped up.It jerks like it loosing power.But this doesn't happen everyday.Sparkplugs,wires,rotor button,fuel filter,fuel pump,vacuum hoses have all been change.The computer had a code of 13,14,15.But I dont have a book.No mechanic has figured it out.I have 233,000 miles.HELP!

What year is your Maxima? Usually codes are 4 digits such as P1105 MAP/BARO Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve

Have you checked your MAF and O2 sensors ? I had similar problems when they stopped doing their jobs properly...MAF made it rev and jerk and the O2's caused it to stop without warning..Hope this helps !

I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima. I think I'm having a problem with the power steering. A few days ago it started making a grinding noise when i turned right, the PS fluid is low, but how do i know if that is the problem or if it's something more serious?
