I have a 2002 Nissan maxima and the problem I am having is stalling out while at stops lights, while in idle and pretty much anywhere. My car gives no warning at all that it is stalling out.
I have took it in for a few diagnostic but I'm
getting told everything is fine. I had s
tuneup last month and also I get oil
changes every month and half. Does
anyone know what it could be?
Sounds like dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate. A bad iac will not always thro a code.
Ok. It also does not allow you to accelerate either before it stalls out. And my rpm is usually between the 0 and 1
But on the highway it runs normal? If so I would check into the iac and cleaning the throttle plate.
check for vacuum leaks especially in the air intake area. the rubber hoses could have cracks particularly the rubber near the maf
