Fuel cap release

Can't find the release button to open the door to the gas cap. Just got her and it's been 26
years since I've been near one. I know its simple and i am going to look foolish but she needs gas bad. Thank you

Its a cable with or without a handle on it under the far right side of the bottom of the dash on the passenger side of the cab under the glovebox.

If tryed opening the release button in door for petrol cap release it will not open plzs

My petrol cap also does not want to open even if i press the button under the dashboard
