what is the bore size for a gear shift knob on the 69 beetle???

i am looking for a new gearshift knob and need to know the size of the insert to get.

It has a 12 mm thread size and a 1-13/16 inch DIA x 1-3/4 High. Having the thread be 12mm is the most important.
