I have a 1999 cabrio and some people say they have problems out of the automatic transmisson, is that so?

I'm wondering is the transmisson in the 1999 cabrio are good, some say that the automatic has lots of problems?

Volkswagen did have alot of problems with automatics, but it was usually with the 1994 and older models, your 99 automatic should be fine compared to any other automatic.
