Short tail or long tail tranny?

Asked by sidviscious Oct 08, 2009 at 08:52 PM about the 1971 Chevrolet Blazer

Question type: General

I'm new to the 4x4 world, so when I looked underneath to see if it had a short tail or long tail I was surprised to see no tail? The transfer case is where the "tail" would be.  Anyone know anything that will help? It's a 1971
K5.  Thanks for any info....
