my '89 4 cylinder camry has no throttle response

Asked by Jun 22, 2018 at 08:06 PM about the 1989 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

feels like car is not getting fuel but the fuel pump has been replaced and the
mass air flow sensor and throttle position sensor has all been replaced and new
fuel filter

1 Answer

Did you change the fuel filter also? It would be a good idea to test fuel pressure and volume. If all that checks out do a compression check and check for vacuum leaks. Does it burn much oil? That will slow it down as will a plugged intake/exhaust
