1994 Camry just stopped working with no reason and won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1994 camry was fine then all of a sudden it stopped and won't start, a friend says it is probably the timing belt and front seal, Does this make sense?

does the engine turn over and just not start,if so,your fuel pump is probley gone out.

Sounds like an issue with the Automatic Shutdown (ASD) Relay switch. Most people who have a similar problem to the problem you're describing think it's the pump, when actually the switch is to blame since it controls when and how much fuel is sent to the engine.
