Being a digital speedo, you will have to take it to the dealer and have them hook their computer to it. No gears to play with in a digital one. If it lights up saying that it's off, then the fuse should be good. If no desire to take it to the dealer, you can always pull one out of the salvage yard and hope that it works. Your mileage should be stored in the main computer of the car. So you will not gain or lose mileage with a used odometer.

That is not true, unfortunately. The mileage is stored IN the instrument cluster.
