My 1982 Camaro makes a high-pitched noise sometimes after I idle it or drive it.  It kind of sounds like a horn and it comes from under the car near the muffler.

might be the fuel pump going bad , the sound by the muffler if it's faint, but distinctive sound, the have someone check the feul pressure against the rated psi.
