I need to know the size of the roll pin that attaches the shifting mechanism to the shaft sticking out of the transmission in a 2004 Saturn Ion. It sheared on both sides and I need to replace it but don't know the size. Thanks :)

The roll pin that attaches the shifting mechanism to the shaft sticking out of the transmission sheared off on both sides and so it would no longer shift at all. Got it all tore apart, and got the pieces all taken out. Now no one can tell me the size of that roll pin. I need the correct size so I can replace it. The dealer ship said that the didn't know the size so you have to buy the whole expensive kit to replace the whole thing. I just need the roll pin size. Please tell me some one knows the answer. Thanks so much
