Does the Saturn Ion need a specific brand when it comes to the coil pack,

Just replaced the coil pack and the spark plugs in my 2””6
ion, before that engine light had turned on and code read
random misfiring, so spark plugs and coil pack were
replaced. Now my car is worse, engine light began
blinking and when I’m at a stop/idle it stalls but not
enough to shut off the engine, any idea what could b
wrong? Specially since I just replaced the plugs and the
coil pack?
