This means that your traction control is not working, and there is most likely a problem with the system. This is not a huge concern, but you may want to have a dealership at least diagnose and give you a quote for repair. It may not be very expensive. Traction control is considered a very good safety feature on the newer cars.

do you have a switch to turn trac on and off

ok,thanks. The car is a new "used" for me. It came without a manual. So,getting acquainted with the features is difficult. Is this feature good to have in the winter? If so,I'll probably get it checked into. Thanks for the reply.
