3800 performance pack

ok back in 98 the firebird came with a 3.8 v6 you could get just that or a w68 body kit and something called the 3800 performance pack what was teh difference between the regular 3.8 and the one with the pack it is mentioned in this video

I believe the difference was a few horsepower based on a slightly different intake and beefed up cam.

if it came from the factory , it was called the y87 package i believe and everything was the same as far as the cam and everything but you got a better flowing catback exhaust and a posi rearend with better gears
