Car won't shutdown properly

Asked by André Dec 07, 2016 at 02:22 PM about the 2004 Audi A4

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn off the car and take out the key is the power and the engine is
still on. After about 5 seconds everything shuts off and then after a few
seconds the power turns on. Anybody have any ideas?
The car has worked just fine since I bought it for a little over a month ago.
It's an Audi A4 2004 1.6 petrol.
At the moment I have to unplug a wire to avoid that the battery will drain.
