Flap that controls heat and AC (in engine)

Asked by Pamdelong Oct 24, 2015 at 11:49 PM about the 1993 Lexus SC

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Prior owner apparently did something that causes car to have ONLY heat or
ONLY AC at one time.  Currently in AC and u need to access this "flap"  so I can
now have heat.  Is this something I can access myself?  If so,where is it
located?

It is located under dash on passenger side floor board,it is called the blend door actuator, you may have to unscrew it and turn by hand to heat setting,or replace with new one.
