Can I replace switch and steering column and my
car start running

I had to beat the switch outta my car bcuz I lost the key. I bought a new steering column and switch. But I was told I had to reset the computer in order for it to work. Is this true?

Not reset, but you need to have someone reprogram the new ignition/key to the car using the proper scan equipment. Check with a few local mechanics to see who can help you, or a locksmith.
