96 contour wont turn over ..just a hum...battery good

battery good ...all lights work...when turning over it just hums

Could be your starter or the starter solenoid. Have you tested it yet? Refer to your Cars Maintenance book (Or Chilton Repair Book) on where your starter is located and how to do a voltage drop test to see if your starter is working properly.
